Professionals preferably- How do I get my hair from red to light brown?

My hair is naturally dirty blonde, and a few months ago I dyed it dark red. Its hard on my hair tho to keep dying it every few weeks, so I'm gonna let it go back natural. I intended on stripping it, and then dying it a light, light brown color (like keri hilson's or jenifer aniston's) and letting it fade back into dirty blonde. Any tips or suggestions or anything?
