I need advice on a new belly button piercing?

I just got mine, last monday. & its still rly red. is that normal? & i notice that there's something coming out of the hold. It's brown & hard. i asked my friend , and she said it's only dry blood. i don't know, but i'm really worried about that. It feels like its infected, but there's no puss coming out. But, the brown stuff coming out the hole is just scaring me. Is that really dried blood? can someone help me. & please tell me how to prevent my piercing from getting infected. & for it not to migrate & get rejected? please & thank you.
