Chronic Gout? No insurace. Terrible Pain?

Hey my mother is disabled. she retains alot of fluid like in her ankles feet and legs and sometimes when its real bad in her belly. she cannot recieve medacaid for 2 years..thats the waiting period..so she has no healthcare. theres a clinic i can take her to for blood pressure pills and her lacix for peeing off the fluid but about 6 months ago..maybe less she started getting these pains in here legs...i did research online and cross reff. her symptoms and self diagnosed her with gout. chronic gout now because she had several flare ups within the last few months...see what happens is she takes the lacix.. a pill that makes her pee every 5 mins and then she sheds like 40 pounds in 2-3 days...which i think the rapid weight loss causes the uric acid build up and the gout comes. my question is how can help her she's hobbling around on one foot in tremendous pain..i feel so bad..but i cant take her to a doctor..any home remedies i can mix up..or anything?
